Order Process in Denven
Step 1: Review the Quotation
After a supplier sends a quotation, the progress bar will reach 60% and turn orange. To view the quotation, click the three dots next to the enquiry and select View or Timeline.
Step 2: Create the Order
If you decide to proceed with the order, click Create Order on the right side of the window.
Enter the quantity you wish to order and confirm each product by clicking the green tick icon. You can add comments for the supplier if needed.
Once everything is confirmed, click Confirm and Send to submit the order.
Step 3: Track Your Order
After placing the order, you can track its progress through the progress bar in the Orders section, which indicates 50% completion upon submission. When the supplier confirms the order and provides a delivery date, the progress bar will update to 60%.
Step 4: Receive Products
Use the Receive option to confirm the quantity of products received against the original order. Any unreceived items will be marked as backorders for future delivery.
During this process, if the received quantity is less than ordered, the remaining items will automatically be registered as backorders. You can also choose to return products if necessary. Confirmed quantities will move to Draft Stock for further processing.
Step 5: Merge Orders
The Merge option allows you to consolidate multiple orders into a single order, streamlining processing for related orders. This feature is especially useful when orders share the same shipment or invoice, simplifying order management and reducing administrative tasks.
