Storage
The Storage section in Denven represents where a product is stored within your practice. You can create multiple storages to suit your operational needs. For instance, you might set up a specific storage for items like implants or create a centralized stockroom from which all products are moved to different storages.
Additionally, Denven allows you to create detailed storage categories, such as Surgery 1, Drawer 5, offering flexibility to manage your inventory at both a microscopic and macroscopic level. You can organize your storage system according to your convenience by navigating to the storage settings and configuring storages as needed.
Unit Price: The Unit Price refers to the cost per individual unit of a product. Denven allows you to track changes in unit prices using the Price History Report. This feature allows you to keep track of price fluctuations across your last four purchases, and helps with cost management.
Minimum Level: The Minimum Level represents the minimum stock quantity you need to maintain for each product. You can set a minimum level to ensure that your stock never runs out. To set a minimum level, navigate to the product list, find the Minimum Level column in front of the respective product, and input your desired value. Once set, Denven will automatically alert you when the stock quantity reaches or drops below this level, categorizing the product as a low-stock item. These low-stock items are tracked in the Inventory Low Stock Report, which can be accessed in the reports section. You can access the low stock report on the Dashboard.
Quantity on Hand: The Quantity on Hand is the amount of stock you currently have available. Denven recommends updating the inventory whenever a product is used by consumers in the practice to maintain accurate, real-time inventory data. By keeping your quantity on hand up to date, you can ensure that your stock records are always accurate, allowing for more efficient stock management.
Expiry Date: The expiration date of the product. The Red code implies that the product is expired, Orange means the product is approaching expiry, and Green means it is within a safe usage period. You can view all expired product details in the Expiry Report, which can be accessed in the reports section.
Order Date: The date when the product was last ordered.
Product Code: The Product Code is a unique identifier assigned by the supplier to each product. This code cannot be changed and remains frozen within the system. The product code is essential for tracking and managing your inventory correctly.
Tags: Tags are used to categorize and organize products for easier identification and management. Denven provides suggested tags, but you can also create your own personalized tags. To create a tag:
Select the ‘Plus’ icon in front of the product in the Tags section.
You can either choose from the suggested tags or create a new tag by selecting the ‘Add Tag’ button in the top right corner.
Enter your tag in the search box and click ‘Add Tag’, followed by the green tick mark.
Save the changes to create and apply your new tag.
This feature allows you to efficiently categorize products based on your specific requirements.
Product Image: Denven allows you to add images for each product to make your inventory more visually identifiable. You can either upload an image or capture one using the camera on your phone through the Denven stock management app. To add an image, select the Plus icon in front of the respective product and upload or capture the file. If you are using the desktop version, you can only upload an image.
Any changes made on either the desktop or app will sync automatically between both platforms, ensuring consistency across devices.
